Miscellaneous Notes |
||
Favors minimal development - just improve trails, control
non-natives, reintroduce natives |
||
Enjoys undeveloped nature of park and fact that it doesn’t advertise
itself |
||
Focus improvements on restoration of natural habitat, amenities for
walkers not cars, not being a city-wide destination, wetland/stream
restoration (maybe even salmon), integration w/lower Leschi & waterfront
area |
||
Very interested in retaining feeling of ungroomed space where nature
is more present than humans. Signage,
trails, etc. should be designed to maintain sense of natural space. |
||
Want park to stay as natural as possible without obvious signs of
human use other than walking trails/ restore stream for salmon & frogs/
no children’s play equipment should be in park |
